Your
Instructor: Phil is actively involved in the outdoors having lived
and worked in the area all his life.
A
qualified Mountain Leader, he has over 16 years active involvement
in Mountain Rescue in the Deeside area. A Senior First Aid Instructor
for Mountain Medicine, First Aid Matters/Alan Crichton Mountain Skills
Ltd and the British Red Cross he has over 24 years First Aid experience.
Practical experience includes attendance at A&E Dept, ARI and
working with the Scottish Ambulance Service. EMT trained he has also
completed ACLS and ATLS courses at Medical School, Aberdeen. He is
an Associate Member of British Association for Immediate Care (BASICS).
Having
been involved with expeditions to Norway, Iceland, Greenland and Nepal
he has a considerable amount of outdoor experience in remote, hostile
environments.
The
following courses are run in partnership with First Aid Matters The
cost indicated is per person and as with all our courses we try to
be as flexible as possible. Some places may be available on courses
ran for third parties so please contact us to discuss your requirement.
